This is a creature type associated with impactful abilities, whether passive or as an enter the battlefield ability

It was obviously going to be great without needing to play it in any decks but having now had a decent amount of time using the card I can confidently say it is far better than I anticipated

The card itself is a pretty solid commander staple, allowing you to counter a non-creature spell for only a single blue, at the expense of giving the opponent two treasure tokens, but for the low cost and the kitty Jace, the community has deemed it a worthwhile tradeoff in the number four spot
