It's cheap and splashable so it can easily slot into any Blue deck, but being an enchantment makes it particularly juicy in Enchantress decks like Zur the Enchanter and Tuvasa the Sunlit, and in Blind Seer decks which run cards like Glamerdye so you can change Insight to trigger off whatever the most popular color is that your opponents are running
Courser is somewhat better in the land ramp heavy decks as the extra shuffle lets you abuse the value and the information most
It's the ultimate slap in the face that works well against slower decks that don't flood the board with smaller creatures and try to get the job done with bigger creatures
It costs a hefty 6 mana, but you immediately get a 5/5 menace haste and trample creature and an incredible sacrifice trigger on attacks
Much like Counterbalance, the slow and steady climb of Greensleeves, Maro-Sorcerers price isnt entirely due to demand
If I do this I'll draw X cards and then put X land cards from my hand onto the battlefield tapped where X is the sacrificed creature's power
