Like most Magic: The Gathering cards, the value of Grip of Chaos depends on a few consistent factors: its rarity, the printing and finish (regular or foil), its physical condition, and the set it was printed in (Scourge)
It could return virtually every non-land permanent an opponent controlled in one fell swoop (and there are stories of people using Aurora Griffin to return the lands as well!), turning a stalemated game into an instant-win with your hordes now free to march unopposed through enemy territory

When you beat Ursula in Deep Trouble, you can open a specialty pack that has a unique foil card in it!
